Our Projects

The seeds for establishing High Stile Projects were sown at the Gardens of Easton Lodge in Essex. The Gardens under the ownership of Brian and Diana Creasey supported the development of a bold and ambitious community arts programme. We  organised several arts development initives and our aim was to engage and utilise the environment the projects have taken place in - encouraging the creation of site specific work such as our 2005 project Drawing on Memories,  2006 project An Invitation to Discover and our 2007 project an Invitation to Explore all staged at the Gardens of Easton Lodge. In 2012 we worked on Sparks Will Fly at Walden Castle. Since 2010 we have been working on the Drawing In Dunmow initiative (now in its seventh year) and have developed many unique community led projects which have resulted in two publications: The Alternative Yellow Book in 2016 and THE DUNMOW CHANGES in 2017.
